FCK is an amalgation of the professional sections of the two Copenhagen Clubs, KB and B1903.
It’s currently one of principally 3 different companies in the group PSE (Parken Sport & Entertainment) where the other 2 are Telia Parken (FCK’s home turf) and the family holiday resort, Lalandia.
The team normally plays a 4-4-2 with zonal defending and attacking backs, though in recent years the formation has been a bit more flexible and adapted to the situation; typically when playing European games.
In the 24 seasons they have participated in the Danish top-division, they have been champions 12 times: ’93, ’01, ’03, ’04, ’06, ’07, ’09, ’10, ’11, ’13, ’16 & ’17. They have won the cup the last 3 years in a row and is the first team ever to win the double twice in a row.
