I’ve participated in a number of physical activities in order to keep fit. As a teen, my sport was judo, which I did extensively until my sixteenth birthday. During my high-school year in California, I didn’t have any opportunity, and never got back into it when I returned to Denmark. When my two eldest started judo as kids, not knowing I had ever done that, I got my old judo-gi out of the loft and helped out as an assistant coach. From 1997-2002 I got back into competitive training once or twice per week and fighting every other month.
In my younger days I enjoyed squash and I’ve even tried my hand at tennis.
I have for a long time enjoyed long distance running and these days I’m supplementing with weightlifting and Les Mills classes, mainly Body Combat, where I am a certified instructor.
